Lincoln: Blair's Attic

Old Captain Freeland Blair of East Orham anxiously awaits the arrival of The Pride of the Fleet, but refuses to say why . When the ship is wrecked, the captain does not long survive the tragic news, leaving behind strange notes and an attic full of foreign wares that entrench themselves as a family mystery. Housekeeper Iantha Hallett was there from the beginning, watching over the old Blair House as family members come and go. The mystery develops over time until a surreptitious nighttime intruder inspires one last hunt for the answer to the puzzle.  Blair’s Attic was published in 1929.
